A blusher \/ makeup brush is ideal to help remove stubborn gel from around roots and stems without causing damage.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStep 3 – Pot Into Your Chosen Mix\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlace the cleaned plantlet into a lightly damp acclimatisation mix.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMy preferred mix is:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e• Perlite\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e• Stratum\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe medium should be damp but never waterlogged.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStep 4 – Maintain High Humidity\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlace the plant inside a humidity dome, propagation cup or enclosed container.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHigh humidity is essential during the early stages of acclimatisation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStep 5 – Wait For New Growth\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eKeep humidity high until you see signs of active growth such as:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e• New leaves\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e• Root growth\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e• General improvement in vigour\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is often around 2–3 weeks but can vary significantly depending on species. Leave them alone during this time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStep 6 – Gradually Reduce Humidity\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOnce active growth is visible:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e• Open the dome for around 5 minutes per day initially.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e• Gradually increase ventilation over several weeks.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e• Continue increasing airflow until the plant is fully adapted to normal room humidity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMany plants complete this process in around 5–6 weeks, although slower-growing species can take considerably
