Philodendron Gloriosum No2 (Variegated)
This is the exact plant you will receive. Photos taken 3rd March.
Please read to the end before purchasing.
About the Philodendron Gloriosum No2 (Variegated)
Philodendron Gloriosum No2 (Variegated) is a velvety, heart-shaped beauty known for its deep green foliage, striking pale vein pattern and rare variegation. The large, soft leaves have a luxurious texture, with bold light veins and creamy variegated sections that make every leaf unique.
Unlike climbing philodendrons, Gloriosum is a creeping variety. It grows horizontally along the soil surface, producing larger and more impressive leaves as it matures. Its elegant shape, velvety texture and rare variegation make it highly sought after by collectors.
This plant is currently growing in a perlite and stratum mix in a warm indoor environment (approximately 18–23°C) and is continuing its acclimatisation process
Although available for purchase, it will require a short settling period before dispatch to ensure it is fully stable and ready for a normal home environment. I will confirm dispatch timing once it is ready to travel.
By allowing this final settling stage, your plant is nurtured specifically for a true home-to-home environment. These plants are not grown in glasshouses and shipped immediately after long-distance travel. Instead, they are given time to stabilise and adjust to indoor conditions before leaving me, helping reduce stress and supporting a smoother transition into your home.
I will stay in touch throughout the process so you are updated on its progress.
Basic care guidance once home
Light
Bright, indirect light is ideal. Avoid harsh direct sunlight while the plant is still settling in.
Water
Keep the growing mix lightly moist but never soggy. Gloriosum prefers consistent moisture but dislikes sitting in water.
Humidity
Appreciates warmth and gentle humidity while establishing.
Feeding
Begin feeding lightly once established, using a weak, diluted feed during active growth.
As with all young plants, natural variation in growth and variegation should be expected as the plant matures.
When it is time to ship, your plant will be carefully packed with a heat pack if still needed to ensure it arrives safely and in good condition.
