Tacca chantrieri (Black Bat Flower) grown from tissue culture – 5cm Pot
One of the most unusual and fascinating plants you can grow, the Tacca chantrieri is best known as the Black Bat Flower, thanks to its dramatic dark flowers that resemble a bat in flight. It is also sometimes referred to as the Cat's Whiskers Plant due to the long, trailing whisker-like bracts that can extend well beyond the flowers themselves.
A real conversation piece, this tropical plant produces extraordinary blooms unlike almost anything else in the houseplant world.
These plants have been acclimatised for around six weeks and are growing well.
