Fallopia Multiflora Variegata

A beautiful and unusual variegated climbing plant with delicate heart-shaped foliage in shades of green, cream and soft pink, carried on striking reddish stems.

Grown from tissue culture and now fully acclimatised here at Chop n Grow. One plant will be chosen at random from the current batch, with variegation naturally varying between plants and with each new leaf.

Growth & Care 🌿

Fallopia multiflora is a fast-growing climbing or trailing plant. Its long, flexible stems can be allowed to trail or given a small hoop or trellis for support. Pinching or pruning the growing tips can encourage a fuller, bushier plant.

Keep in bright, indirect light and warm conditions. These plants are currently growing in a free-draining substrate and sitting with a small amount of water at the base. They have developed their roots in these conditions, so do not allow them to suddenly dry out completely after arrival.

As with any plant moving to a new home, some adjustment to changes in temperature, light and humidity is normal. Keeping conditions reasonably stable at first will help the plant settle before making any gradual changes to its growing conditions.

It can also be propagated easily from stem cuttings containing a node once it begins producing longer vines.
