What I’ve Learned About Grow Lights the Easy Way

There’s a lot of advice about grow lights — this is what’s actually worked for me in a real home.

People worry too much about getting it “right”

One of the biggest things I see is people stressing about grow lights — what wattage to buy, which one to go for, and where on earth to put it.

That worry alone puts people off using grow lights at all.

I use 36W grow lights, but I also use the 3-arm and 4-arm lights, which are 10W per arm — and honestly, they work just as well in my home setup.

What I’ve learned is that you don’t need a perfect or complicated setup. You don’t need lights hovering inches above your plants. A decent grow light, placed sensibly in a room, will still benefit your plants.

Some of mine are positioned a good distance away — even up to 2 metres — and the plants underneath and across the room are still growing well and looking happy.

Once you stop overthinking it, grow lights become just another part of the room.
Switch them on, leave them to do their thing, and let the plants get on with it 🌱

If you’re unsure where to start, I use SANSI grow lights at home myself — you can search SANSI to see the range I sell.
