Why I Use Self-Watering Pots for All My Own Plants
Share
I don’t know how it’s happened, but I’ve sold loads of self-watering pots recently — and I get why. Every single one of my own plants lives in them.
I don’t just sell these pots. I rely on them.
They genuinely save plants
Without self-watering pots, I’d lose plants. Not because I don’t care — but because life gets busy.
I’ve walked into rooms before and seen plants drooping, clearly asking for a drink, and I just hadn’t got round to them in time.
With self-watering pots, I know everything’s hunky-dory for at least a week.
That breathing space makes all the difference.
No more guessing
Different plants dry out at different speeds. With normal pots, you’re constantly second-guessing yourself.
Self-watering pots take that stress away.
I can have a glance round every 7–10 days, admire my plants, and just top up what needs it.
Brilliant for Monsteras and Aroids
They’re especially good for Monsteras and aroids — steady moisture, no extremes, no drama.
And honestly?
It just takes all the stress away 🌿
