About Anthurium Black Magic
Anthurium Black Magic is a striking collector’s Anthurium admired for its deep, dramatic foliage. As the plant matures, the leaves develop rich dark green tones that can appear almost black in certain lighting, giving the plant its bold and mysterious name.
The foliage typically becomes thicker and more textured with age, while the veins become more pronounced, creating a beautiful contrast across the leaf surface.
The plant offered here is the exact specimen shown in the photographs and is currently growing in a well-draining perlite-based mix while establishing a healthy root system in controlled indoor conditions.
As the plant continues to mature, it will produce larger leaves with stronger texture and deeper colouring.
Natural variation in growth and leaf shape should be expected as the plant develops.
Basic care guidance
Light
Bright indirect light is ideal. Avoid strong direct sunlight.
Water
Keep the growing medium lightly moist but never waterlogged. Allow slight drying between watering.
Humidity
Anthuriums appreciate moderate to higher humidity for best growth.
Temperature
Warm conditions between 20–25°C are ideal.
Feeding
Once actively growing, feed lightly with a diluted fertiliser during the growing season.
